Yea, Sunshine

the sun drenched life in winter warmth today

entirely unusual for February
48F

we all take note at the lack of snowfall and cold days

wondering what nature is up to

and look at this unusually shaped conk!

nature wants us to have a double dose:

ending with magical light

  1. Isn't the weather crazy. I have a friend outside Boston who has had 80 inches of snow since mid-January! Here in the south it's been typically cold, and our typical once a year snow/ice storm might arrive tomorrow. Your pictures are gorgeous and make me wants to be outside in the freshest of air.

  9. Beautiful images once again ! The weather this winter is puzzling :/ last weekend we were 75° and this it was 16° and 8 inches of snow. I worry about the summer temps.

  14. Fabulous Tammie, while the east coast drowns in snow, you get a taste of spring. I still wish that I could see your place just once in my lifetime. Not a possibility but still I live in hope of seeing such beauty.

  15. Such a lovely day, Tammie. Beautiful sunshine, but cold and crisp I'll bet, away from the sun. Love the reflection scene.

  19. I’m happy for you, Tammie, that you could be soaked in sunshine. White world of snow is so beautiful but when sunshine and blue sky are added, it creates the most beautiful world; these photos prove it. In my part of the world, the average highest temperature of a day in Feb. is 8C (48F) so far, and warmer days are forecasted toward the weekend.

  23. I say "wow" so many times as I look at your photos. We had similarly crazy warm and dry weather around when you posted this. That has now changed for us with a big snow storm whirling outside. Has it changed for you?

I adore the cloud reflection photo.
