Montana Landscape

Consider kinship
with a day
with a breeze
with the perfume of a forest
on a warm summer day

consider kinship
with the weight of a steel gray cloud
or the seemingly weightlessness of puffy white ones
or even
with the blanket of darkness on a moonless
starry night

consider kinship

Hi Tammie, your skies are as lovely as your poetry. Do I see snow capped mountains at this time of year?

P.S. Your post below on the star flowers, do you have a name? I saw a photo posted by one blogger and she was asking about the name of the flower.

Thanks.

I already feel it, and I am not even there. How do you ever get anything done? I would be looking at the sky and landscape all the time.

I do love your poems.
