opening to the vast mystery
an endless creative force
a universe of possibilities
thrives within my core
images of a night sky
filled with twinkling stars
forever one can wander to the edges oh so far
to see oneself in all of life
opens a magic door
we are artists of the infinite
this I am thankful for
~
Wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving.
May the vast mystery touch your heart,
in a way that brings you peace and joy.

ReplyDeleteHave a happy and safe Thanksgiving, Tammie.
Oh, Tammie--how lovely! Starspangled ice over rainbow pie!
ReplyDeleteIn Washington state there is a beach where there are stones as blue as the skies.
It has this magic...
Happy Thanksgiving to you Tammie!
ReplyDeleteOh those stones look just like bonbons. Lovely. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
ReplyDeleteTammie, Happy Thanksgiving. Your work was so poetic and introspective. I really enjoyed it. Your words are so true. I appreciate your words on my blog, thank you.

The colors of the pebbles are so amazing. Have you ever see Kaffe Fassett's Mosaics book? There is a beautiful project in it using pebbles of many different colors around the frame of a mirror. I'm going to go make a warm drink. That icy water gave me a chill! Beth
ReplyDeleteThank you for another inspiring post.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

More beautiful ice art. I hear from Ecorover that winter has already come to your state. We are still fairly warm here, may even get through November with no snow down here in the southern part of the state.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of a universe of possibilites.
Beautiful hon....may your Thanksgiving be peaceful and blessed!! Hugs, Sarah

Stunning words Tammie! Oh the infinite possibilities of creativity! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
ReplyDeleteA universe of possibilites lives snug within my mailbox. But I never realised it - until today. Now even! At 10.30pm an envelope flew out of the mail box and into my atelier somewhat like a dove heralding good news. I opened a little yellow envelope encompassing a real live rainbow of beauty. For this I am deeply touched and truly Thankful. How fitting it should choose today to arrive... Much love.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to you for your touching poetry and such your talent at capturing a rainbow every time you look through your lens.
Dear Tammie--
ReplyDeleteThis, as always, is beautiful!
And my shorthand on your eloquence is always: 'it's a big fat damn mystery'!
Love to you and sweet, warm and loving Thanksgiving.
Artful combination of colours and words, happy thanksgiving to you and your family.

ReplyDeleteHi Tammie,
ReplyDeleteI tried to comment while in UT, but don't see it here - I was part of a "vast mystery" so perhaps it didn't relay to you! Your poetry and photos always open a "magic door" for me - thank you.
Hope you had a fine holiday - enjoy the rest of your weekend.
I love the colors of the rocks and the lines of the thin ice, very elegant!

Do watch the movie, it's so lovely;-)
I am surrendering quickly to the erosional process. The water takes me for a ride.
ReplyDeleteThe clear ice on top of all those colorful stones. It almost looks like stars on the right hand side.
ReplyDeleteNow I have to take my camera and go outside and look for frozen water and stones in different shapes and colors.
