These photographs are beautiful. We had some snow here in The Netherlands, and still a lot of cold - but no ice like this. But of course, we do not have little waterfalls over here...
Its like the spirit that flows temporarily takes form and soon dissolves to discover its self as a new form. This takes time and is timeless.
I think you have a specialty unraveling before you Tammie. A few more winters of these "chrystaline moments", and you will have a volume of poetryin action to impart to the world.
To catch the flow of water, the sculpture of ice, and the texture in the stream all in one photo is amazing, Tammie - your poems always make me think. (I received your E-mail and will respond as soon as I'm able.) PS Was amazed at how many visitors the Magic Carpet brought you!
Tammie! I didn't know what to expect but I was thrilled that I'd be in for another treat. Your water series is the best!:D Makes me wanna pick up my paint and start coloring as well.
Heisann! Water is really a great competitor to artwork created by the world´s masters. "Trollbinding" in the form and with great variation in the reflection of light: simply beautiful! Have a nice weekend. Thank you for visiting my blog!
I believe you captured the essence of the definition of life that I was just pondering about. Our time here on earth really is one of shadow and light, fluid and frozen, one of contrast for us to experience.
Beautiful photos as always! You have such an eye for water and ice, and the dance the do together.
Hi Tammie, Such a wonderful poem and images of glassy water! You amaze me how you mange to capture nature in such unusual forms. These photos look otherworldly and magical. Thank you for your great message. I will reply to it soon.;) Have a lovely creative weekend. Much Love, Jo.x
