An Invitation

lie your head upon my shoulder
rest upon my breast
find peace within my beating heart
warmth within my kiss
release
embrace
this sweet sweet love
taste deeply
nurturing bliss

Never thought I would have such a hard time leaving my work...
I need a rest and I'm gladd i've took this week 'off'.

This bud makes me want to lay my head down, just some were, just a moment to reflext. To reload my battery. Deep sigh...thank you for letting me.

  19. Yes, Ruth, life is too short to be rushing around like a headless chicken.

I choose to rest and come straight back home after work instead of window shopping.

I choose to rest at the park, look at baby birds and flowers.

I choose to look at my garden and feel the calming effect of seeing my baby plants grow.

Yes, I am recharged after a good rest.

  20. Thank you.

This is indeed a wonderful poem and believe me, very much needed in such a crowded place as Athens, Greece can be.

    Please have a nice Sunday.
p.s.: the photography fits so very well. Brilliant too.

  40. Many thanks for taking time to look at my blog and for your kind comments.

I think that this is a young cock pheasant looking for a mate, he came to see me again this morning. It is still much too early for nesting here. I hope he is successful!

I have enjoyed looking at your wonderful pictures, Montana is a magnificent State and your photographs capture it beautifully.
