Conk Dripping

sun dances upon morning
as a kiss of light
waking birds bugs and me
revealing glistening drops
hanging from a conk on a tree
~

the next day
no more dripping drops:

Tiny crystal gems waiting for the right eyes to see them. Each reflected drop is like a world unto itself.

What a mysterious set of drops. Maybe not pure rain any longer, but imbued with some of the juices. Better not taste it :-)

What a jewel of a conk it is Dear Tammie! The textures and colors of the bark and fungi are wonderful and how do those drops from . . . they must be absorbed through the purple nose. Exquisite! I love "sun dances upon morning as a kiss of light . . ." Lovely!

conk? What a very peculiar word!! I don't even know what we call these in Swedish... Strangely beautiful drops!

T- nature never ceases to surprise us - and the very compressed timeframes take one's breath away. Great macro shots - weird to have a conk weeping but great. B
