Ethereal

we had an ice crystal morning

last night the moon and the stars danced in a clear sky
temperatures dropped to 9F
inspiring crystals to manifest

lovely ethereal beings they are
whom became more ethereal as the sun kissed their tiny wings
and they took flight
melting and mingling with the air

  2. Tammie!!! Your icicles are the most wonderful images I have ever seen. My teenage daughter has expressed interest in photography. I let her use my Canon Xsi and she had fun. I am going to save enough money to buy her a macro lens so she can take miniature worlds. I am so excited. Next week I hope to sit down with her and show your her your photography. I can't can't wait!!! Thank you for sharing your gifts.

  13. They are so lovely, wing like is just right.

Your photos are such a contrast to the dull and dank weather we have here at the moment (although it is now clearing and the planets: jupiter and venus are incredibly clear).

I am sorry if you got the spam from my hotmail account, I got hacked! I have got rid of the pesky virus so you shouldn't get anymore junk claiming to be from me.

  31. Truly, these are the most delicate of winter fairy wings, captured in the breeze. I can't imagine how amazing they must have looked from far away, too... coating the branches.
