the morning held a mix of clouds and mist
and
whitetail deer
they wander looking for anything to eat
I am sorry
I only had a point and shoot camera with me
still
these offer a glimpse of rural Montana
(my neighborhood)
rocks being lifted by frost through winter leaves

ReplyDeleteyes, spring is mingling with the last days of winter, this is how spring begins here.
DeleteTammie, it's hard to believe you took these gorgeous photos with a point and shoot camera. I guess it proves that it's really the photographer's eye that makes a good photo, not the camera!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad the photos look gorgeous to you. thank you.
DeleteI can't stop marveling at how beautiful Montana is! Snowy, misty, frozen, sunny... The deers are lovely and the blue pebbles - as if reflecting the sky!:) Can't wait for the first signs of spring at your place...

Wonderful set of images. You still have lots of snow there.
ReplyDeleteIt's full of beauty your way, feeling cold still but so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteIt's full of beauty your way, feeling cold still but so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteTammie, that mist reminds me of the steam at a hot springs! I see that your snow is really dwindling. We're supposed to get a couple little storms this week. We really need the moisture. "My" rocks look like they're nesting in leaves.
ReplyDeletebeautiful to see the mist rising...how pretty this all is.....
ReplyDeleteHello dear Tammie,
ReplyDeleteGreat landscape but as always, my eyes are very much attracted to your photography of rocks, leaves and pebbles: I find them magical. I have tried to see in the Pyrenees if I could spot anything close in the mountains streams but nothing like what you come up with!!
Keep well, warm hugs :)
Wonderful, Tammie! My best regards from Romania!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Tammie
ReplyDeleteYou have shown such lovely morning scenes with the mists, and also captured the deer well. I totally agree with your friend Sharmon. You neighborhood were taken with your affectionate look. They are so beautiful.
I hope you will start a good new week.
That mist is fabulous -- almost mystical. And to add the deer -- well, they're splendid, no matter what the camera!
