Montana Summer

drenched in light

adoring the teeny tiny world

if we travel high in the mountains
we can find flowers that have come and gone at lower elevation
a bit like going back in time

an interesting find
I have never seen growth on the bottom of a conk
have you?

a tiny nest
full of treasures
don't you love how this bird lined the nest with a layer of feathers?

this dance of clouds
appears to be celebrating this peak of mountain

  3. You have a wonderful eye for the beauty of simplicity, Tammie. What a sweet feathered nest! That's the first I've seen a conk, let alone the growth on it. I see you're having a lovely MT summer.

    1. hello Barb,

Conks usually grow on dead trees. I bet if you look you will find them. There are many types and sometimes they are colorful and quite a few are medicinal, such as the Reishi and many more.

Yes, a sweet little nest. I wonder where the mamma found the white feathers.

      Thank you for visiting!

  18. Hello, again. I’ve never seen growth on the bottom of a conk, neither. The feathered nest is so lovely. The mountain summit with clouds makes me feel that the mountain is calling.
