Autumn Glory

yesterday

the western larch

were cloaked in their golden hues

most the day was cloudy gray

and

then the sun came out to show off the beauty even more

entirely tangible how light coming through autumn colors
inspires vitality and awe

these beautiful days pass by swiftly
and
nearing deep cold temps will change the colors fast.
Be sure to get out and enjoy!

  1. Hi Tammie Lee,
Your photography is amazing and the landscapes you show are stunning. I think the light there must be particularly good and the air looks so clear. We have had quite a number of grey days here with a lot of rain. It has rather spoiled the autumn colours.

    1. We are in a gray spell also. In fact the first half of the day that these photos were taken was gray too. What a difference in colors when the sun came out!

    1. It is Montana. I suppose our area might have similarities to Alaska.

    1. Thank you for enjoying. A couple days later the rain began and then the snow. It is seriously winter looking now.

  10. Your photos are just magical. Your area is showing Autumn at its finest, and you captured it all so nicely. You have similar Fall colors to what we have here, and we had a late start, so there's still some color left on the trees. They aren't bare yet.
