  2. Hi Tammie,
WOW! Your photos certainly wake me up - such vivid autumn colors. I imagine soon enough these leaves will be resting though.

  3. Hi Jasmine,
fun that you relate fire and sunlight!

    Barb,

  4. so pretty...all the leaves here have already fallen, so no beautiful leaves here. Worst time of year, between the leaves falling and the snow coming because everything is so bare. I bet you could make it look amazing though

  7. Hey.....you have many equals....but none better and that means you are one of the best. The fractions of difference in angles and light suggest everything from temper to temperance.

  11. There certainly is such beauty to be found through the sun dappled leaves that are seemingly translucent and glowing by the light of the sun. I appreciate the things that catch your eye Tammie. It is such a gift to see these treasures in nature and also to share these gifts with others, thank you!

  12. Oh Tammie these are so very beautiful. I used to live around such beauty when I was a child, but didn't appreicate it back then. Now, old and living in the city, I long to be around such beauty.

    Beautiful words too.

  17. How lovely the glory of autumn...
the stunning colours the moist, dank smell of leaves upon the ground, mushrooms like elves peeping out of every corner, long walks in the dripping woods, a leaf gently falling like life nearing its end and to eventual rebirth.

  20. Uplifting photos, and wonderful uplifting message beneath. I especially loved how you embraced the essential nature of the dark in relation to the light... Few people understand the need for both, both metaphorically and otherwise.

    Beautiful.

  22. The play of light on your autumn leaves is breathtaking... You are right - 'One may not reach the dawn, save by path of the night' Khalil Gibran (one of my favourites! Let me know when the words of joy and peace arrive...

  23. Gold is perhaps the colour we see when both light and dark and yin and yang are felt without attachment or judgement. To simply be, as a soulful experience, and is a golden moment.

Life Sparkles when we are in between Life and Death.

  41. I went to my park just now, most of the trees are green, I found two ginko trees and took some leaves.

Are there any ginko trees where you are?

  42. Oh! I gasped when I saw how you had caught the light in the leaves the way you have--as I've said--it seems almost miraculous.
