Like a Feather

rest softly in your body
thoughts quiet
as they sink and float with your breath
like a feather
floating on the whisper of a breeze
a quality
of liveliness
has space to flow
to grow
to fill each bit of flesh
of thought
expanding into space
we permeate
blend and mate
awareness;
we breathe with all life
my energy is yours
as one

  1. I can't decide which I like best -- your pictures or your words. One thing is certain -- they perfectly compliment each other.

  3. State of mind is the name of the game. Simply think of how you want to be and you experience what you create. You are self-motivated, self-empowered and self-generated. Choose to redefine your identity on completely new levels. Your images are gorgeous. Even images emit frequency and light. They communicate how you feel.

  33. Tammie, you really capture what you see and feel and convey it so beautifully. Always such depth. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I love and draw stength from trees. The tree picture on my blog is a baobab tree growing in Zimbabwe, southern African where I am from (although living in England for now) These incredible trees are ancient, a great source of strength, create their own ecosytem, have countless uses and are seeped in lore. They are incredible, magical, and keeping that picture on my blog is a constant reminder to me of the so many ways I respect the qualities of the mighty baobab and all that it means to me and how I strive to be as mighty of heart as a baobab. Thank you for asking and thank you for all the beauty you share.

  38. Nature allows us to learn to rest and meditate no matter the action we partake in. We can be running, and at rest, if we learn to let go and trust in the movement and the intention that we have propagated. Nature, as in your beautiful photos Tammie, allows one to resolve resistance and to let life happen. Each feeling truly felt becomes a meditation and juvialtion towards living life fully.
