The Park, Glacier National Park

as the sun nears the horizon

snow shows off the beach boulders in a different way

without sunlight the rocks colors are muted, appealing in a earth toned way

reflections are day dream beauties

tucked into that far off canyon, it is snowing

  1. Such beautiful images of your snow and lake. I love the wet pebbles and the sheen on the lake on that last shot. Fresh snow too! Such beauty!

It was an ever changing scene, as often is, or perhaps always is.

  4. I don't know which is better -- your camera or your eye. But a truly remarkable photo requires both -- and that you have!

  5. I love the "veil" of snow in the canyon. "My rocks" (yours...) are always beautiful no matter the light and circumstance. The sky reflection in the first photo is so calming in the mirror stillness of the lake.

  6. Dear Tammie - How beautiful! I like the reflections of the sky on the water mirror. Its blue looks deeper than the real sky. The shiny wet rocks are so beautiful.

  9. I like how the water is so clean and still and reflective. The last shot is dreamy, almost as if the clouds are descending down toward the ground.

    Have a lovely day.
