Becoming Spring

in the north we ride
the wave of seasons
winter pulled us under a deep cloak
of quietude
springs sprightly presence
teases our spirit to the surface

wandering a trail
in the wilds of Montana
feeling each cell of my body
and spirit
tremble and open
to meet new life

light pours from the sun
days imbued in blue skies
dancing clouds
earth wears a cloak of greens
sprinkled with
pristine essence
and
presence of wildflowers

I am Spring

  2. Everything looks so clean, intensely pure; if there was such a thing as concentrated innocence, you caught it here. Love that picture of the mountain, the lake, and the sky -- amazing view!

  7. Glorious.
And the Pasque in bloom...such a symbol of "I am Spring". I've never seen these in the wild. I hear they are dainty when twisted seedpods remain.

  40. I love the line "springs sprightly presence / teases our spirit to the surface". It does have a way of doing exactly that. Sometimes it gets a bit of help even.
