Summer is Pouring on the Heat

amongst the hot days
there is water

cooling
cleansing
refreshing
waters

large vistas
to dream into

alpine waters dancing down the mountains

rivers singing
with all their might

lovely forget me nots
reminding us of grace and beauty

new life entering our world
prancing about our meadows
napping in the shade
~
wishing you sweet summer (some of you; winter) days
and
nights

Many Glacier, Montana

on a breeze
the high mountains
called to me

i felt it in my heart
and in my blood

after a long winter
wandering dirt roads, hiking trails and camping
is essential

the Eastern Rockies are wild and gorgeous
yet tenderness can be found:

photos are the trail to Iceberg Lake

are the Rockies now calling your name?

Summer's Embrace

water falls
from the top
plus from an inner cave half way down:

dancing waters
mingle with shadow and light

along the shore, wild columbines:

St. Mary Lake, Montana

air
wind
dancing clouds
water
earth
spirit abounds
rest
open
breathe
remember who you are
a bountiful soul
a beautiful star

Mystique of the Pasque Flower

journeyed east of the Rocky Mountains

to find your lovely blooms

found you thriving in a WINDY terrain

dancing wildly with the land

Autumn Blessing

may the breath of autumn
which stirs the leaves
until they are free to ride upon the breeze
may it free your spirit to gently rise
find your colors and then take flight
may the breath of autumn wrap a cloak of soft light
around you

Becoming Spring

in the north we ride
the wave of seasons
winter pulled us under a deep cloak
of quietude
springs sprightly presence
teases our spirit to the surface

wandering a trail
in the wilds of Montana
feeling each cell of my body
and spirit
tremble and open
to meet new life

light pours from the sun
days imbued in blue skies
dancing clouds
earth wears a cloak of greens
sprinkled with
pristine essence
and
presence of wildflowers

I am Spring
