wandering
amongst your trunks
dressed in dappled light
serenade of bubbling brook
forest a mighty delight
one
creative weaver
a dance all of its own
heading for the spacious air
blue skies and light above
~
just look at this wonderful curvy tree
dressed in tender greens
and fungi

Wonderful light.
I can almost smell the lichen and pines.
And hear the melting snows.
Beautiful!
I am not sure, but it is pretty. You have so much light in the forest there.
Beautiful, as always,Tammie.

Dear Tammie, last night we watched again "The Horse Whisperer" and I told my husband that you live there, in beautiful Montana! I'm always in a hurry to see what new wonderful sights you have prepared for us to see!:) Oh what a forest! Don't you feel lost sometimes among so much beauty? I like the second photo most, because for me it's wearing the features of several seasons and that makes it unique!:) Very best wishes for sunny, lovely days!
I love mushrooms.....I would collecte them there!!!Here spring has already arrived,I went beach last sunday!
Beautiful pictures, Tammie!
A rich forest indeed with many levels seeking the sun.
Beautiful wood Tammie! Lovely words . . . snow and green at the same time. Happy Spring!
Thank you for taking me to your forest! =) Gorgeous photos!! =) Oh I LOVE old forest like this!! Makes me relax sooo much! :)
I do not know the name of the lichen, but it's beautiful!
AMazingLY BEauTIful indeed!!! Super shots, wow!

HI Tammie, What fabulous pictures... But--it looks so cold!!!! Hard to imagine snow now --since we have almost had summer weather recently (even though it is ONLY March)... Crazy winter/spring!!!!! ha
I have never seen any lichen like that in your last picture. We do lots of hiking and I see lots of moss on trees --but not what you have shown... Interesting!
My favorite picture is the "bubbling brook" one... Awesome!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I just want to tell you that as I scrolled through your post, when I saw the upward shot of the curved tree, I gasped!!!
Thank you Tammie. I love your eyes and your heart! Okay, I love you but what I mean to say is, you see anf feel things in a special way and it shows.
Everybody may have a camera but not everyone is a photographer, even if they think they are.
Tammie what a wonderful connection with Nature strolling through the vast variety of natural form and shapes! So much wisdom in these naked trees.A beautiful series of images.
That spring beauty, that time between seasons, is just amazing. Grand. Big. Thanks for this wonderful post.
that tree of green is magnificent.
Old forests like that are just beautiful this time of year! You would have to look closely at that lichen. There is a large variety of leaf lichens up here.
Hi Tammie!
Thanks for bringing me on your Nice forest walk! See you have snow still, here is spring and no snow, and we have a true "springsign" the Hepatica!
Best wishes !
wish I was there wandering with you!
I shared this on facebook

What wonderful soft light as winter recedes and spring approaches...
I would also enjoy to walk in those ancient paths also.

Hello Tammie ...
I am glad to see you again :), What a beautiful series of photos ... would believe that trees stretch out their arms to the sky to catch the light ..
Thanks for the walk in this enchanted forest...
Send you kisses and love...:)
The mix of snow, rich earth, evergreen and spring light is so striking and lush. I don't know what kind of lichen that is, but it makes me want to sew something silky with ruffles and a long train. :-)
I'm sorry Tammie, I wouldn't know but it looks like a lovely, lush carpet. What wondrous walks you are enjoying!
Glorious views, wow...so dreamlike too. So glad I stopped in.
Very special, I love the light.
Warm greetings, Mirthe
Fabulous pictures Tammie, what a brilliant state Montana must be.
I think your Lichen is a Moss, commonly known as 'Green Tree Moss', of course I may be wrong and Debra Anne is right about it being Lettuce Lichen.
Whichever it is it's wonderfully colorful.
Beautiful images and very special text.
Hugs
Lúcia
These are some of your loveliest photos, Tammie. I just adore the one photo of the tree looking up! I see remnants of winter snow - hope the spring finds you soon. :)
Ooooh, dear Lady. What lovely wanderings. Such beauty. It renders me nearly speechless.
Should I visit your beautiful state someday, I would love to see this place.
Ah, this moves my soul to something beyond me.
You share with us lovely woods, not yet done with winter.
Oh dearest Tammie, coming in here and seeing your photographs and reading your poetry is like being bathed by the sun's rays amongst those trees in your forest!
What a treat, it's simply glorious!
Tammie - I understand the wonderful moments you had in the forest with light and freshness and silence. Forest-series from your heart.
Muy buenos tus ultimos trabajos.
Saludos.
Spectacular images of this magnificent forest!
Today I dressed up as princess East ... and find an ancient forest full of life ...
Tammie, how lucky to be there ...
Kisses!
A lovely walk in your forest, Tammie.
Love that tree reaching for the light.
I do not know the scientific name for most things...
So beautiful … the images and the words … as always.
And I'm amused that the lichen may be "lettuce lichen" … and while I don't know, I suspect it to be so, since this is what plant communicated to you. Gotta love Nature!
OH Tammie, I'm afraid I've been neglecting your blogs! & it's a shame because I absolutely love this post. I feel when I'm within a forest all is well in the world...it's a certain feel I get as if all the branches & roots of the woods could just sweep me up and embrace me... thank you for sharing these most amazing shots!
Magical hugs & kisses to you Tammie :D xoxo
Beautiful...lovely blog! I'm now following...♥♥
Best,
Anne
I started your challenge. Okay just an itty-bitty peek :)

I can hear the hush in that forest, Tammie. I'm glad the snow is still wetting the ground a bit. That curvy tree is awesome.
I have no idea what the lichen is, but I'm enjoying wandering with you through this forest - hearing the silence and the quiet tread on snow, listening to the gentle stream and smelling the pine through the cold, crisp air under the canopy away from the sunshine...
Beautiful! Looks like Sweden =)
Super magnificent post..this totally makes my soul sing!! Awesome!!
These photos are amazing. What a gorgeous, verdant forest.
