Blush of Autumn

autumns blush goes on and on
delighting our eyes
filling the air
tis the time of year
when the sun shines on us it penetrates our bones
yet if a single cloud wanders by and cloaks the sun
we feel autumn's chill
and so it goes
warm and cold
light and shadows
as the sun rides closer to earths horizon
autumns blush goes on and on

You have caught the essence of autumn in your photos and words. It was cold here today, except when the sun came peeking through once in a while, and warmed our souls.

Thank you, Tammie Lee, for the beautiful comment you left on my dewdrop photo. To know you liked it makes me jump up and down with joy!
