My Style
My style has been set in stone since I was born
and yet it changes
with the wind
with the blossoming of a flower
the twinkling of a star
the touch of two lips as they meet
for my style has come to be
a reflection of truth
that I find in this moment
in the breath of life
my style is alive
and pulsing
growing
changing
my style is
a dance to be danced
anew in each moment
I find
I enjoy
grace
tenderness
wildness
fearless honesty
shared with a caring heart
can we be with what is
my style
Sunday Scriblings prompt: My Style
This image was taken recently when a friend and I stopped at Red Meadow Lake, high in the mountains on a chilly day. The shoreline was dressed in frozen beauty that thrilled and filled my heart with joy.
