My Style

My style has been set in stone since I was born
and yet it changes
with the wind
with the blossoming of a flower
the twinkling of a star
the touch of two lips as they meet
for my style has come to be
a reflection of truth
that I find in this moment
in the breath of life
my style is alive
and pulsing
growing
changing
my style is
a dance to be danced
anew in each moment
I find
I enjoy
grace
tenderness
wildness
fearless honesty
shared with a caring heart
can we be with what is

my style

Sunday Scriblings prompt: My Style

This image was taken recently when a friend and I stopped at Red Meadow Lake, high in the mountains on a chilly day. The shoreline was dressed in frozen beauty that thrilled and filled my heart with joy.

  13. Wow that is beautiful! The ice is too much for me...I finally cracked and turned the heat on today. I was hoping to leave it until November but no such luck. Those icicles will be hanging from my roof in no time

  20. Very pretty. I love the style of it. Maybe I should do a post on style, because it has been on my mind, lately.

I love your crystals/icicles contrasted with the wood.

  21. Thank you all for visiting and your kind words of appreciation. Something about ice and ice crystals that makes me so thrilled to be alive and then to attempt to capture their beauty in an image, big fun! Big. That was the first time I saw ice like that and the sun shinning, perfectly delicious.
It's fun when a writing flows right out of me, no changes, no hesitation, this one was like that.
