The Grace of Flowers

In your presence
the world is vibrant
the air rarefied

In your presence
life is buoyant
light spilling over

a cheerful spirit runs through
my veins
in your presence
I am aware
of a life full of grace

~
Spring is sprinkled with endless wildflowers
and I seem to be sprinkled with ticks
as I shoot photos of these little beauties
on my hands and knees!

Each photo was taken within this past week.
1) Fairyslipper or Calypso orchid
2) Obscure Bluebells
3) Glacier Lilies
4) Forget Me Nots

  2. Hi Sharon,
I sure was flicking them ticks off! Not one bit into me. The thing is, once you find one you just keep looking for them, they are robbers of peace. Still that can't keep me from the little flowers and shrooms ;-)

  3. Hi Tammie, I sowed some Forget Me Not seeds in my yard this morning - just before it started to snow! Your photos are lovely and delicate - I don't believe I've ever seen that Bluebell. I have seen some wildflower stems and leaves but still too soon for the blossoms at my altitude.

  4. Hi Tammie, Thanks for visiting my blog. I am enjoying looking at yours. I think you live in a gorgeous area of our country. I'd love to visit that area sometime.

Love the Glacier Lilies and the Forget me Nots... BUT--they are all beautiful.

Please come back to my blog--and I'll keep checking out yours.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  8. Those flowers are gorgeous. They dont look like that here yet. Still dandelions and stuff. It is predicted to be a cold week that I am sorry to be missing while in Texas. I will wave to the west as we cross the border :)

  16. Beautiful shots. I guess I'm grateful for my ancient hips and knees that forbid me from getting all the way down to shoot photos,.. saves me from the ticks! I especially love the bluebells.

  17. So beautiful Tammie, I love the fairy slippers. Good for you insisting on your shots and not letting the ticks scare you off. That is the one critter that really gets to me....nasty little guys.

They're all in baby form - Are they really that little or are they full size & it's just my imagination? They're beautiful at any rate!
