The Novica Winner is......

evidence

of divinity

found in each breath

the breath within our chest

the breath

of winters magnificence

evidence of divinity

as the sun lights icy crystals

colors dance

and fairies prance

kin to the living spark

light that dances within our hearts

As we near Winter Solstice,

my heart feels the peace found in deep nights.

Soon,  we will experience more sunlight each and every day.

Wishing you all a lovely holiday season!

Water, a Precious Gift ~

raindrops bathing in sunlight

fluid life of water

an entirely mutable dance
raining from the sky up high
seeping into earth below
quenching thirst of tree and bee
flower deer you and me
all the food and drinks
we eat
released again
to our earth beneath
an entirely mutable
and
precious
dance

Blog Action Day

this years subject is 'water'.

Water is entirely precious, essential and part of every bit of our bodies

and all life.

To deeply appreciate what water is to our lives, is to care for its health.

As I write this post, there are over 4,000 blogs that will be honoring water in one way or another.

You can join in, visit: Blog Action Day, sign up, and honor water on your blog, in your way.

visit: Nature's Footstep to enjoy macro photography!

Jelly Fungi ~

finding orange jelly fungi
cuddled as it should
with the lovely forest clover
life is just so good

P.S.
I just bought my first cord of wood, anyone want to help me chop the big pieces
and stack it up? ha
Only three more cords to go.....
It will feel so good to be prepared for winter.

Rest

avoid living
theme of busy mind
as it fiddles with past and fantasy future
hearts wisdom:
conquer twirling scenarios
rest in the solitude of spaciousness
magic grows
~

walking in the woods this week
the quality of the air 'caught' my attention
immersed in a spacious feeling
there was no thinking
distinct realization of being in a living moment
filled me
along with a sense of being enlivened ~

Obvious Mate ~

In the land of seasons
nature becomes an obvious mate
there is no wandering into her wilds

without considering her mood
honoring her stance
appreciating
our union
if only for ones well being

in honoring
behold
endless treasures
in her presence
in her kinship

Gems of Light

evidence of rain
in the form of tiny spheres
lay lightly
yet tightly
not rolling from leaves
tiny spheres of rain
and light
mighty
precious gems
