feeling my sadness

creatures offered sound
as music
company of trees
caressed by the wind
moist earth for substance
my spirit lifted within moments

ReplyDeleteTammie,
ReplyDeleteI feel you - those days when 'simply the human journey' can take us under in brutal and exhausting ways...thank god for a sweet breeze, a perfect shade of green, a scent, the light...and our words about them, too. *Your* words about them.
E.
~tammie...there is nothing that can truly compare and uplift ones spirit than walking about in the glory of her gifts...these words you share...raw and full of emotion...yet ever so beautiful as each picture...i am glad your time was well spent...the human journey...right...we are all there...walking it day by day...may your days be filled with only happiness in your heart...be well and brightest blessings~

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post Tammie. The picture of the dew soaked grass is so uplifting. I love the way you have used these very simple aspects of nature to remind us we don't have to see grand vistas for our hearts to leap.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you have been through a troubled time too, and glad to hear you have moved forward. Warm wishes to you .x
Time in Nature is such powerful Medicine. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's why I live in the woods....I do not go to a church...but my daily walk is a prayer and a blessing for my physical and spiritual essence. The human journey is made wonderous by nature...even the growth in cracks of a sidewalk.
ReplyDeleteHi Tammie, your photos and poems are as beautiful as ever =)
ReplyDeleteHappy week!
Without Nature, I'm empty. It charges my internal battery; my heart and soul. Thank you for reminding me that there are so many others like me.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful details. Nature always amazes me...
ReplyDeleteI never fail to be amazed at the incredible talent of the blogging world. Here you are, and have always been. Yet I just found you. You touched my soul today.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Often, when we forget who we are, we get wrapped up in tightness and require some fresh air to loosen the knots we have sewn. So we go into Nature into those places that know them selves. We become Natural and find our personal Nature when we surround ourselves with energy that has its senses wide open. It makes us feel alive because we can reconnect with that which has been temporarily lost. Its like pushing a reset button to regain your internet connectivity and creativity.
ReplyDeletewho wouldn't feel better after seeing so many beautiful things...
ReplyDeletestill wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you have been through a bad spell. You chose just the right path to get you through it, though.

ReplyDeleteDear Tammy,
ReplyDeleteThe way of the human experience can be so very sad. I understand. Often I go to the garden and talk with the bees. When I am with the birds, the butterflies, the dragonflies and the plants I feel connected. I know "this too shall pass."
Your photographs bring peace. Thank you. I am enjoying the sounds of summer.
Sherry
