Pause ~

 pause
to rest in the quiet places
both within yourself
and in the world around
sense and follow your breath
perhaps consider
that your breath
is the same breath
that inhabits
each lovely flower
and then each seed
~

  2. I'm reading some books by Pema Chodron - your poem distills her message perfectly. Perhaps the gossamer seed heads are meditating, too. (Or, are themselves a meditation...)

  79. You show us the simple but sublime beauty in each seed and its feathery wand. I am always enriched when I pause and visit your world Tammie. Stunning photos and your words are beautiful. I love to imagine our breath being the same as that of the flower and seeds. Very Lovely!

  80. Oh, I must add that after scrolling back down to your earlier photos of the dandelion, I love seeing the mist, that was all about the seed feathers, is now a jeweled carpet or stream beneath them and they are once again free to fly. Exquisite! In their lightness of being and how they are touched by pure light. Your lovely spirit Tammie is revealed through your art in photos and words.
