our eyes were on the ground a lot
me on rocks
Lucy and I on tracks
of wolf
and
elk
also deer
we saw our first butterflies of the year
such beauties all
and every pond of water
found Lucy wading through
and every pile of snow
a place to rest as well
tiny details to behold
looks like plants within a rock
a spring walk
on a beautiful day

Tammie....THANKS
ReplyDeleteWhat a walk! On the edge between winter and spring... Thanks for taking us with you, Tammie! The tracks are a little bit scaring.:) Have you ever met a bear or a wolf?? Lucy is so lucky to live in such a place, where she can be really free...
ReplyDeleteThe butterflies are gorgeous!!
hi Bern,
ReplyDeleteso right
hello Tomas,
yes a long time, spring unfolds so slowly that it is still brown here, the things growing are tiny tiny details.... I appreciate you stopping by.
yvette, hello!
Rossichka,
thanks for joining in on the walk. I have not met a wolf and only seen bear in the distance. I was hoping to see a bear track, but did not see one. lots of wolf tracks though!!
Yes, such a joy to see butterflies, here they are a bit like springs flowers, because we have no flowers yet.
Beautiful images fromd your walk! I love the pretty butterflies. And Lucky is a cutie! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this beautiful walk that I am very much enjoying. Lucy looks like an absolute darling!
ReplyDeleteTammie, And what a lovely Spring walk you had--all kinds of "wonders" to experience. Thanks for sharing the lovely day you and Lucy had. Have a great weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeletewishing i could have walked with you along your path. it's so beautiful. you both looked to be having so much fun. have a great day~
ReplyDeleteOne of the most beautiful walks I have seen over the past few weeks, that's for sure. I like Lucy's spirit!
ReplyDeleteI see so many wonderful things in your images, on your walks . . . including the purple rock that is clearly talking to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us in.
What a wonderful walk you and Lucy had! I just love your coloured rocks, it seems to be a speciality where you live. They're so beautiful. So nice to see all the details you notice and those first butterflies of the year tell us that a new season is well and truly here!
ReplyDelete...Lucy is so sweet...I love her adorable face!
ReplyDeleteYour rocks are a lot more colorful than ours. All the shades of purple with green (in such large amounts) make me drool. We have a green rock every now and then, but I've never seen a purple rock here...cool.
Your surroundings are beautiful and so wild, I love where you live!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight your posts are! I really am waiting for them - the photos of your gorgeous surroundings are always so beautiful and masterly taken, and you have an eye for the small sweet things often overlooked by others! WOW!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh and something else - those purple rocks, I never saw PURPLE rocks! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for a MOST BEAUTIFUL WALK, BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteoh my.... gemstones everywhere? :-o
ReplyDeleteFabulous Tammie, Lucy's a great looking dog.
ReplyDeleteLovely butterflies, I've seen them but I've still to capture one this year.
A lovely nature post.
Your surroundings are so beautiful.. and so is Lucy.
ReplyDeleteSpring is wonderful, and even more so with such a companion!

Lucy is beautiful Tammie and so were the 'spring finds' you both found! :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you got the weekend snow? Ours came Sunday and throughout the night - another 15"! Looks more like spring there - a lovely walk, Tammie. Butterflies? Already?
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed a beautiful spring walk. But what attracted my eye more than anything was the aubergine coloured rocks - I should say 'eggplant' perhaps, as I'm addressing an American!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding!! You made my day, and with these amazing photos I can meet all and everone with a smile! :)
ReplyDeleteLucy is a beautiful dog! :)
And "the plants" on the stone; I faced a forest first :)
Lovely spring to you and Lucy! :)
