the sun drenched life in winter warmth today
entirely unusual for February
48F
we all take note at the lack of snowfall and cold days
wondering what nature is up to
and look at this unusually shaped conk!
nature wants us to have a double dose:
ending with magical light

Oh my, these are splendid!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the weather crazy. I have a friend outside Boston who has had 80 inches of snow since mid-January! Here in the south it's been typically cold, and our typical once a year snow/ice storm might arrive tomorrow. Your pictures are gorgeous and make me wants to be outside in the freshest of air.
ReplyDelete80 inches is a lot of snow! I hope your storm is good to you!
DeleteSuch gorgeous images of your beautiful part of the world. They take me on a lovely journey of nature and beauty away from my city environment!
ReplyDeletethe sun drenched life in winter warmth today...
ReplyDeletethese few lovely words under that magnificent photo make a piece of art
:-)
thank you for taking that to heart Yael.
DeleteWe would have to make a monument to sixth picture !!.
ReplyDeleteIt is not only beautiful but it gets into your mind.
Have a good one, Tammie.
Tomás.
i love the 6th photo too, i maybe should have lead with it. Good one to you too!
DeleteSo beautiful - glad you are getting some warmth .
ReplyDeleteNo snow in your part is kind of scary but oh it's still so gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteimmensity!io ho fatto una foto di una Betulla che sembrava fare palloncini con la bocca °_°, ^V^ heheh
that is so fun Manu'
Deletei had never thought of that!
So beautiful. The sun and the snow and that blue, blue sky.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images once again ! The weather this winter is puzzling :/ last weekend we were 75° and this it was 16° and 8 inches of snow. I worry about the summer temps.
ReplyDeleteSuch a radiance of blue! Really lovely.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these--I fell in love with the whimsical conch you found--it looks like he's either made a heart, or is looking at one!!! :D SO pretty--so comically whimsical, and this fills my eyes to the brim.
ReplyDeleteAmazing, gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteJoy for the eyes, feast for the soul, delight for all senses - the awakening of nature! Gorgeous photos, dear Tammie, as always!:))
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful! You are having some great weather and taking full advantage of it!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Tammie, while the east coast drowns in snow, you get a taste of spring. I still wish that I could see your place just once in my lifetime. Not a possibility but still I live in hope of seeing such beauty.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely day, Tammie. Beautiful sunshine, but cold and crisp I'll bet, away from the sun. Love the reflection scene.
ReplyDeleteWow Tammie, I am totally blown away by these pictures, I can't believe how stunning it all looks! I hope you're keeping warm!
ReplyDeleteJess xx
What lovely skies to accent your wintry days, Tammie. That conk reminds me of an old ear trumpet.
ReplyDeleteAnd this blog too -- Your photos are always the most remarkable -- beautifully composed, well photographed, terrific color and wonderful places! (Jeanie from Marm. Gypsy!)
ReplyDeleteI’m happy for you, Tammie, that you could be soaked in sunshine. White world of snow is so beautiful but when sunshine and blue sky are added, it creates the most beautiful world; these photos prove it. In my part of the world, the average highest temperature of a day in Feb. is 8C (48F) so far, and warmer days are forecasted toward the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYoko
So lovely. And utterly springlike. We're in the deep freeze still.
ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful! I love the first and last photos, most of all. Hope you're having a wonderful day Tammie! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing photos - I love those clouds :)
ReplyDeleteI say "wow" so many times as I look at your photos. We had similarly crazy warm and dry weather around when you posted this. That has now changed for us with a big snow storm whirling outside. Has it changed for you?
ReplyDeleteI adore the cloud reflection photo.
Tammie Ha, not so much snow and not so cold but sunny
