I went to Two Medicine this weekend
sunshine called for another camping trip
the wind never paused
not once!
clouds rose from the tops of mountains
as though they were the mountain's breath
a wonderful show as
they moved and changed shape swiftly
Running Eagle Falls is a well loved waterfall
earlier in the year, Spring and Early summer
water also flows from the top of the falls:

I guess I better get myself up there . . . outstanding beauty.
ReplyDeleteAnd anyway . . . got to see my technicolor mountain stream stones.
Wow.
yes, some day you might have to wander the wilds of Montana.
DeleteWhat magnificent landscapes to be around!
ReplyDeleteBonjour chère amie,
ReplyDeleteQuel bonheur que de rencontrer ta nature... C'est si beau et j'aime cette grande sérénité qui semble régner.
Tes photos sont merveilleuses.
Gros bisous 🌸
Look at that water churning up and the white crests on the water! I love the wispy clouds flying across the sky like some huge white birds with flapping wings! I smiled at the cloud breath of the third mountain shot, I can even see the dip of its 'mouth'! The waterfalls bring such positive energy when we walk around them, so now I feel quite energized just looking at all these lovely images and reading your words!
ReplyDeletehow lovely that you took this all to heart and feel energized! love that.
Deleteyes, even though we are inland, not near an ocean, we do get waves. I love that.
Wonderful captures of nature's unending beauty!
ReplyDeleteThe landscape is beautiful, but you make that we see it even more.

ReplyDeleteHow fun that you honeymooned here! Memories, lovely memories.
DeleteI love your first photo! The white caps make the scene even more beautiful than when the water is glassy smooth!
ReplyDeleteYour part of the world is breathtaking indeed. Yes, gathering those outside moments while we can is so important and you did it big time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous part of the world you live in!
ReplyDeleteSuch a magnificent place!

What a beautiful and magnificent place. The third photo is my favourite. :)
ReplyDeleteDear Tammie - I felt fresh sensation while looking at these photos. The whole nature of the Two Medicine would cause medicinal effects on the tired soul and mind. I’m especially attracted by the each blueness of the water, the sky, and the mountain in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteYoko
Hello Yoko,
DeleteThe Two Medicine area is considered sacred and good medicine to many! So you are in good company in thinking so. Thank you for your message and visit.
The scenery there is fantastic. If I had seen paintings of it, I would be saying that they were nice paintings, but not very realistic as nowhere is as beautiful as that! Now I know better. Everything looks so clear and clean there.
ReplyDeleteI just did an image search for Two Medicine. You must have a great time camping there. Montana is a Wonderland!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! This is just the Medicine I need on a Monday morning. Thanks a lot for this gorgeous walk. Yoko have said it all, so very beautiful and healing is the nature through your eyes and around you. wish you a fantastic new week.
ReplyDeleteHuge hugs,
isabella
