DeleteA chickadee will brighten up even the most miserable winter’s day.
ReplyDeleteso true
DeleteI love your glimpses of winter, Tammie. I think a fox walked across that bridge. Your puffy birds are so cute. The only ones I've seen all winter here are the Gray and Blue Jays.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a fox too. That seems to be the main tracks I have seen in this deep snow. Well and there was those two lion cubs who seem to have moved on.
DeleteI have the Stellar’s and Canada jays too.
Last year I had juncos and I have not seen one this year. I miss them.
Today I saw my first blackbird, that was fun.
Wonderful images of your beautiful world! The Chickadees are so adorable. I love the shot of the footsteps across the little snowy bridge! Something trotting along and dragging its paws a little in the snow! Yes, indeed, beautiful skies to dream by!
ReplyDeleteChickadees are my favorites (along with cardinals and finches!) Beautiful photos. Love the sweet nuthatch and the tracking image is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love chikadees. They are so dang cute. You have a lot of snow still!
ReplyDeleteAll are beautiful! My favorite is the Chickadee, my favorite bird! Also the nuthatch. Winter beauty at its best!
ReplyDeleteHello Tammie,
ReplyDeleteEven if I am late... as usual!, happy birthday to you :)
Nice to see you step into the next year with serenity as I would expect from a person highly spiritual like you ;-)
How it seems where you live, one must really be used to it, I couldn't!
I am better in Africa! LOL!
Your photography is spectacular, the sunset in previous post is magnficent.
But again, so it is here too ;-)
Enjoy what's left of the week and take good care
Hi - I'm so glad that you've gotten a normal heavy blanket of snow. It looks gorgeous! Our chickadees have begun singing their springtime songs on warm days. I love hearing sounds of spring!
ReplyDeletethese shots are beautiful. I wish I could take a walk there, that is, I would have to be bundled up very heavily with tons of layers.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
A winter wonderland!
ReplyDeletethe birds look very similar to our tits....
ReplyDeleteLast snow melted yesterday here.....
Your puffy birds are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI imagine the animal elegantly walked the bridge and left its tracking!
Have a lovely day,Tammie.
Lovely pictures as usual. I love the birds. We have the Coal Tit here, which looks very similar to your black-capped chickadee. I wonder if they are the same species - Parus ater.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nick. I looked it up, seems both birds are passerine birds in the tit family. Good notice on your part.
DeleteAmazing to see all the snow!!!
ReplyDeleteYour first photo brought a big smile to my face, what a cutie.🐤
I hope you have a good week Tammie.😊
So many pretty shots! You have two types of chickadees? We only have the black capped here. Northern Maine does the boreal chickadees, though.
ReplyDeleteLove the bridge shot, and seeing a nuthatch close up.
I think we have 5 types of chickadees Sandy. But I have only seen 3 in my forest. We also have chestnut-backed chickadees, they are lovely with brown. I will try to share a photo of them. Thank you for enjoying.
Deletelovely photos! The chickadee and nuthatch are both very cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely winter pics !
ReplyDeleteThe birds are just waiting for Spring and eating whatever they can find.
ReplyDeleteLiving in the moment must have its advantages....
Beautiful trees and skies!
Enjoy your evening
Ruby
I love all of these, Tammie, but especially the chickadees. As always, your images inspire me...
ReplyDeleteThat little winter chickadee sure is cute. Did you ever find out what critter it was
ReplyDeletethat walked over the snowy bridge?
