Hot Summer Days

hot summer days

are beautiful

and true to the season

yet they beg for evening walks

as the day cools off

pollinators

busy at work

wings

the original stain glass beauty

berry bushes

lush in their greenery

high mountain flowers thrive

where lower elevation flowers have turned to seed

Autumn Equinox

like a sweet lingering kiss
two seasons
Summer and Autumn have been dancing

mingling
celebrating

communicating

like a season within themselves
perhaps we could call it "Sum-umn"
fun

two seasons summoning a new season

Autumn is here and colors abound

rainbows

lake stones

a few
alpine flowers still flourish

critters still mating

a time of harvest and celebrating

gone to seed

magical light

beautiful sunsets

i wish one and all a lovely change of season

Happy Equinox
