vision wanders between the folds
and layers
of all the luscious petals
there is a consequence when one beholds this beauty
tender awareness rises
waves of an inner reflection
no longer can one deny
that life holds precious
the layers of sensuous grace

ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Peonies are the best! I love their beautiful perfume. Wish they'd last longer, but the rain always knocks them down. My trick is to pick them in bud and put in a vase of water. They open in the room and release a wonderful fragrance.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful pictures and words.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. Gorgeous. And true. Thanks.

Gorgeous Tammie....so love peonies!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely breath-taking. My parents' Canadian neighbour has worked very hard to create a garden of peonies this year. Her own flowers are a like a timeless flock of birds with their own personalities. They sway in the wind as if they are a heavenly choir singing in perfect harmony.
ReplyDeleteTwo absolutely beautiful photos. I can see these done in large framed versions. Poster size. Oooooh,.. girl you know how to capture the beauty!
