Autumn is beautifully obvious.
Days have a chill and the warmth of the sun penetrates in a delicious way.
My camera broke on this trip. So no Teton photos - not yet.

Love the water splash on the first photo and your critters are great shots too.
ReplyDeleteThe coyote is a teacher ~ to drink and absorb the spirit of the earth. You connected and can therefore see with the coyotes heart. Your trip reinforces this notion. The earth sees through your eyes and you can see through the eyes of Nature.

ReplyDeleteOh no, broken camera! I guess when something like that happens it is a lesson to look at our surroundings in another way..... The pictures are spectacular though. I love that last one of the coyote, that look is priceless. Look forward to hearing more about your trip.
ReplyDeleteAmazing captures. The coyote is magnificent and I love the intensely cautious look in his eye...doing what he needs to do but keeping a sharp eye. This is a beautiful capture of nature at its finest. And, the first photo is beyond beautiful! The color, the light...it is gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your camera broke and hope you will get it fixed soon. That coyote encounter is magical, it reminds me of my furtive bear encounters in Québec. They were too fast for me to catch them on camera, but oh the memories! Fantastic photos as usual Tammie.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Tammie. I can't make out what's going on with the first one - is it a splash or something like a geyser? Beautiful captures of the coyote and an excellent description of what was going on - not quite trusting each other but deciding to just coexist anyway! Sorry about your camera - hope it's fixed very soon.

Gorgeous photos. Love the colors in the first one. I have almost the same capture from when I visited there, but unfortunately, I did not see a coyote. Those were great captures you have!

Yellowstone is one place I hope to visit in my lifetime. These pictures are convincing me also.

Great photos --especially of the coyote, Tammie.. I've never seen one--and probably never will. I think I read though that there were some coyotes somewhere in TN ---that were attacking little dogs and cats at night. They were warning people to keep their pets up. I cannot remember where that was though.....

During the blessing of the class rooms, the maori elder encouraged the kids to roll on the floor, touch the walls and breathe their spirits into the classrooms.

We have a family of coyotes nearby, and hear them constantly. In all of these years, though, I've only seen them twice. You are so blessed ... with vision and words.
ReplyDeleteYou brought some great memories back for me. We were there a couple of years ago and I hope to go again one day. Fantastic photos, loved the ones of the coyote but the one of the hot springs was magnificent too.
