Understandable

folks flock to your kingdom
from all over the world
they wander through your flesh
open to your presence
drink of your spirit
bodies are strengthened
eyes brighten
as stars paint the night
folks sleep deeply after a day in your glory
tis a holy sojourn
my sense
we are kindred
of the same descent

  2. And as with any grand symphony, decending notes are followed by rising notes.

Not only was I seeing the earth as the kingdom, I was seeing the soul as the kingdom too.

  34. Tammie--
These photos, of the same range from different perspectives, I'm assuming, are glorious. And your poem speaks to the work of my heart-mind these days...of accepting all that is given as gift.

    Truly lovely. Thank you!

  35. Hi Tammie, you put this 'kingdom' in good perspective with your poem. It helps to remember how we appreciated the beautiful places when we visited.
It must be nice to wake up to this every morning. We haven't been in any U.S. mountains this year. I guess we made up for that with the Alps and the Pyrennes of Europe. Last year we did the Rockies and have been to yours before.
