Flathead Lake, Montana

to witness the beauty of nature
we lean towards it
taking its presence to heart
witness more deeply
and clearly
and our beauty
becomes evident

pause
veils of illusion disappear
as if they never were
essence of true substance
emanates
permeates
stay with this and life's
vitality builds

external beauty
a reminder of internal vitality
~

  15. The depth in that first photo is amazing - it does seem to lend its vitality. The sky and snow covered peaks are an interesting contrast to the choppy lake. I thought of you this weekend, Tammie - I found two budding Calypso Orchids. When they open, I'll take your advise and bend toward their scent.

  39. Another perspective is veils of illusion dissipate as you grow content and even-tempered, come what may. Images are breath-taking here and invite each being to step through the looking glass as Alice does in order to bring reality into focus. Blessings to all.
