we are contained
within a vessel that we call body
and so our spirits energy is quite tangible
a strong presence to get to know
without a body
it might be more obvious
that we are connected
completely blended
dancing
like mist
to all energy
all life
imagine that
perhaps it is our vessel that fools us
for a moment
or a lifetime
into thinking
we are separate

ReplyDeleteMist and sunshine and blue sky actually make a very invigorating combination!
ReplyDeleteEntirely agree with the spirit of your post:
ReplyDeletethat's precisely what makes our web communications so exciting: soul - to - soul, without intervention of accent, voice, body language or ....body.
Magnificant views, and words to match, thanks for sharing with us in Sky Watch Friday

ReplyDeletethe ephemeral autumn mists, there in all their shining glory , then burnt up by the sun.
ReplyDeleteMost people walk in a shadowland not trusting to their soul, but if you trust, ah then so many wondrous things can happen which again too many people write down to coincidence . . .
Delightful autumn photos and your shining wisdom.
Whoaa!! what a scenery!!
ReplyDeleteUsually when I want to capture fog I'm in the middle of it. I really like this angle on it. Nice work.

ReplyDeleteWhat a magical place! That mist gives it an air of mystery. So beautiful. And what a wonderful honor for your work! Hurray for Amalia - and what a talented artist she is. Theresa

ReplyDeleteTammie,
ReplyDeleteI did not know you draw!
I just discovered your other blog, and of course you are very talented!
Thanks and happy weekend
Great landscapes 'nd pictures!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so beautiful and reflect the unique beauty of your state. Tomorrow we will drive to the North Georgia Mountains to see if we can find some fall colors in those hills. Our little Appalachian mountains compared to yours seem so puny though. I enjoyed looking at all your posts.
ReplyDeleteYour thoughts of spirt as mist and vapor, freed of the physical, is intriguing, Tammie. That first photo of the foliage and the clouds is mesmerizing. What a vantage point!
ReplyDeleteThe mind tricks us into believing there is separateness in this world. Well said. The pictures are too good with the mist blanketing the scene below. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteWow - these photos are pure magic!
ReplyDeletei love the message of this poem ... it is easy to forget just how connected we truly are. thank you for the beautiful reminder.

ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. Great captures.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is marrying the earth with the fog, I think. It's good to see them connect like that. Very beautiful, as your work always is.
