Passion

passionate
who me
about ice crystals
is it that obvious

well
if you were to meet
to truly treat
yourself to perch on your heels

gaze at their form
with light streaming through
blue sky too
tis my guess
that you
would feel passion too
perhaps even kinship
with the fragile delight that you find
~

Thank you
to everyone for wishing me a wonderful time last night at the Headwaters Photography Event!
It was a wonderful evening of amazing photography.
As well as raising money to take care of our waters.

Caring for our waters is not only important
it is Essential!

  16. Oh you are taunting my Oooohs and ahs! This morning! My goodness!!! I showed your ice crystals to my children and they asked me if they were real. You should have heard them when I told them they were real. Thank you for sharing!

  17. Deightful pictures of the ice!! :)
And I love your words! :)
Fantastic pattern in "the snow leaves".. We're living in an artistic world, where we can find a lot of great things in small things, just by looking around us and care for what we see .. The same we cannot say about the people in Japan right now.. so much sorrows.. a real disaster!! :/

Yes water is not only important, but essential! You're doing a great work! :)

    Nice Sunday to you! :)

  18. Oh Tammie, these are so delicately beautiful. I have perched on my heels and examined the fragile delight of ice crystals ... but have not been able to photograph them like this. You are amazing!

P.S. In your second photo ... on the right side ... I see a heart-where-the-ice-is-not!

  62. Amazingly stunning Tammie! The structure so similar to that of leaves. No water . . . no leaves. No water . . . no life. It is essential as you say and we must not allow our rights to clean water taken from us. The privatization of water is outrageous. It is a human right to have free and safe water for every person on our planet. Your photography never fails to give joy. Thank you!
