ReplyDeleteTammie, I thought of you when Bob & I hiked the trail yesterday in search of Calypso Orchids. No luck! I found two that were withered, probably by the snow a week ago. I'd be thrilled to see a Shooting Star, no matter the color. Yours are so delicate - great shots.

Those whites are gorgeous! I first saw white ones last summer and they were pretty, but these that are mostly white but have accents of color are spectacular!

ReplyDeleteThere's just something about spring flowers. I remember as a kid roaming on the prairie to find Indian Paintbrush and Bitterroot flowers. We would even find an occassional cactus in bloom!
