ReplyDeleteYou give us a wonderful view of the Italian Alps, on the Swiss border, they are rockier than the Alps in the South Tirol on the border with Austria.
ReplyDeleteGreat that you are having a wonderful time with your family.
sigh...dolomites?
ReplyDeleteYour heart was full of peace there, is it true?
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. I hope you had a wonderful trip. :<)
ReplyDeleteSorry to you all my friends but these are not the ALPS. They are called the Dolomieten (Dolomites in your language). And they don't belong to the Alps. I've been here so many times drove through them on our yearly vacation to Italy. And when I was a little girl, visited after our holidays with my mom and dad each year in Switserland.
ReplyDeleteFirst thing I saw was...uh....these aren't us/can. peaks....they would be way to pointy/sharp. And yea I totaly forgot you were on a european tour.
To bad I didn't know you were here, would we awsome if you would have hit holland too.
Hugs and hope I've helped you out here. ;0 Dagmar

Oh wow.. so lovely. It must be wonderful to see in person.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning Tammie! Breathtaking! The drama is similar to your world here in the states. I am sure you would have loved to run down to the poetical tree and sheep?
ReplyDeleteI believe different mountain ranges evoke different feelings of beauty. Like your own Rockies, the word majestic comes to mind. I'll bet they're even more beautiful when snow capped.
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous scenery!
