I can picture you, standing in front of these wonders, breathing in and out gladly and joyfully, and capturing the beauty forever in your wonderful photos - thank you for showing us the gorgeous results! :-)
Such beauty in the winter which you have captured so poetically here. Each image impels me to linger a long moment to take in shapes and textures and colour. The stones in this area are amazing and so colourful like nowhere else I've seen.
Hello Tammie, I agree, ice and rocks make for magnificent photography graphics. The mix between colors, pattern and texture, plus your way to compose these images gives us works of art to admire! I have had a look at your previous photos, they are all stunning and have story for whom is willing to read them at a deeper level! We are still waiting for a cold spell in the south of France, unfortunately all we are getting is storm after storm with so much rain... Keep well!
Beautiful images of the colorful stones and ice! You always delivering the goods in this category! Your words is captivating as well, as always :-) Rune
Thanks as always for the 'fix' Tammie. We're just about getting a little winter at last, I actually took some snow pictures today. Maybe I'll post them tomorrow. I mentioned a long while back about Scotland being joined to America millions of years ago, once again the stones are the proof.
I adore your ice shots and stone ones. When combined: AHHH!

love, love, love....you need to be careful. You post so many amazing images of your little corner of the world that it could be inundated with people who want to live there, (like me) and would no longer be tranquil.... http://karenannruane.typepad.com/karen_ruane/
