the sun came out today
for a little while to play
the Western Larch are a bit past their prime
still don their golds
a bit divine
the clouds mixed with fog
won my heart
~
I only had my iPad with me today
so that is why these photos are grainy
a few days ago
we had a couple hours of snow:
lately days have been gray
and rainy
~
wishing you a sweet autumn as we lean towards winter

Beautiful sky!
ReplyDeleteDo you ever get "used to all that beauty?"
the beauty always gets my attention Rick!
DeleteNice touch of colour and poetry in this otherwise grey day (here).
ReplyDeleteI think i was captivated with the beauty of the day in comparison to the gray we have been having as well. And that sun only lasted a couple of hours.....
Deletelovely week to you Hilary
I like the golden grasses and the larch. We have snow on the ground - not much, but no more leaves on the trees. Your long view is gorgeous.
ReplyDeletefor some reason i enjoy considering your weather in comparison to ours.
Deletewe are on opposite side of the Rockies, in different states, but somehow we are still connected by the mountains.
Sweet autumn to you, while it lasts....
Definitely leaning toward winter here too. What a lovely scene with the meadow, the western larch, and the clouds.
ReplyDeleteSuch expressive clouds and fog still allowing slashes of blue sky. The golden larch add their last touch of colour and the first snowfalls tease you in-between the rain! We have it grey and rainy this week and in town, that's drab and unexciting. I'm lighting candles and crafting and listening to music to nourish the soul!
ReplyDeleteAs always, your beautiful photos encourage us and make us happy watching the scenery.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Tammie.
Tomás.

ReplyDeleteHello Tammie!
ReplyDeleteI find your landscapes enchanting!
I had a look at your previous posts, what gorgeous and interesting photos you came up with!
Autumn is giving way to winter here and we had light the fire for the 1rst time today!
Happy wanderings, keep well!
I love seeing the mountains all shrouded in mist, Tammie. Sweet fall to you, as well!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures as always Tammie. Much the same here with the weather, yesterday there was hardly a cloud in the sky, today it never stopped raining. I here your long range forecast for a lot of snow this year. Keep well wrapped up.
ReplyDeleteSuch a *grand* and gorgeous landscape!
ReplyDeleteAutumn blessings to you.
The mixture of mountains and fog is an incredible mixture indeed :) Have a great weekend :)
