leading with one of my older photos
and a favorite of mine
a rare find when raindrops are colored
ancient rugged beauty
leaves reflected as golden light
dancing on the river
forest lace
in the depth of a dark forest
a crown of ice crystals
through the leafy veil
together they begin winter
gems of rain
lay me down to sleep till spring
this last one is one i have always loved
more rugged handsome

leaves as treasures

Such beauty in all your images and the golden reflections on the river is gorgeous. The transparency of the leaf showing up the blades of grass is so delicate. Each image is a joy to behold!
ReplyDeleteso glad you found joy in the images Sandra.

ReplyDeleteHi,Tammie

ReplyDeleteYour shots are so beautiful, showing the splendour of Mother nature!
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely stunning series. I love the water droplets and that golden frilly fern like leaf. Just amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis is really nice !
ReplyDeleteSuch marvellous autumn finds. nature gives us the best gems and not necessarily diamonds. Those ephemeral mulri-coloured drops on a leaf are beyond beautiful, as is the frozen lace edge. Your photos overwhelm me with their beauty.
ReplyDeleteDear Tammie - The eyes to spot out gems lying quietly in nature and to capture them in their natural but the most beautiful image seem to be innate quality of you. I’m touched by each and every image and your words. Thanks for sharing.

Your leaves, whether bejeweled or crinkly are works of art. I love the image of the grass silhouetted behind the leaf and the crown of frost. Snow due here tomorrow.
