Happy Equinox to You

as we cross the threshold of a new season

we have glimpses of summer and autumn both

 change and mysteries tend to be tangible at this time

the spots on fawns

are fading

I found a moth's cocoon

will it survive being buried under snow all winter

a mix of leaves cuddle on the pond

sunsets 

after rain

offer their own special drama

here and there 

a mushroom can be found

Honoring Autumn Leaves

a rare find when raindrops are colored

ancient rugged beauty

leaves reflected as golden light

dancing on the river

forest lace

in the depth of a dark forest

a crown of ice crystals

 

through the leafy veil

 

together they begin winter

 

gems of rain

 

lay me down to sleep till spring

this last one is one i have always loved

more rugged handsome

This is where we are born

Over and over again
Endlessly

Glorious Body

Glory in each breath Can you feel it?
Life in each breath
Can you feel the vitality of existence entering into your body?

We exist in the breath

The body
glorious body
a basket
holding the vitality of our existence

Can you feel it?
Let your heart become aware of vitality
in your breath
Spirit is enhanced
Feel the birth of life
Born in each breath
