drove to the top of Logan Pass
looked east to the majestic mountains
waters are dancing down the mountains
huckleberries have begun to ripen
creek water is mesmerizing
seems like billions of flowers
on one stalk of beargrass
tiny flowers are enchanting
walking deep in the forest
where no trail exisits
i found to Orange-capped boletes bathing in the sun
~
Summer is certainly here!
I enjoy watching this and I am glad you are enjoying everyone also !
ReplyDeleteHave a good one, Tammie.
Tomás.
Such beauty. And I just love the vertical path that the mountains have made for the waters. And the beargrass is magical. And all of it is beautiful. So, so beautiful.

Hello,Tammie,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. You made me miss water fall in my area. You have a good summer.
Wonderful glimpses of your summer.
ReplyDeleteWe are doing an art show in Kalispell July 15-17, then a trip to Glacier. We haven't been since our honeymoon in 2007, and it will be nice to see it again.
ReplyDeleteMaybe i will be able to stop by and meet you. Good travels to you!
DeleteThanks for sharing the beauty of your summer. Each shot is magical on it's own and tells the story of your wondering .
ReplyDeleteSure is pretty now up your way! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteDear Tammie - Lovely glimpse into your summer treasures. The first image is the landscape where I’d like to be immersed for a while. Like you, I’m mesmerized by the reflections of light on the creek water, which shows how crystal clear the water is. I’d be so happy to see that blue little flower in person. I think there are some similarities in this post and my latest one, the colors (blue, white, green), reflections, and feels.

Yes, that landscape is one people come from all over the world to see and walk in!
DeleteI agree, i get mesmerized by the water too. That flower is quite tiny, i nearly missed seeing it and could not see all these details with my eyes. Lovely summer to you.
Water cascading over rocks looks almost man made - but more beautiful. I love the image of patterns on creek water,I think it would be amazing enlarged to room size!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tammie,
Happy weekend,
Ruby
Such wonderful views... and your beautiful photos show even the tiniest details splendidly as well.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the summer!

I enjoyed seeing your scenes of summer, Tammie. I read on-line that a mountain biker was killed by a grizzly near Glacier, and I thought of you, roaming alone. Hope you don't meet a bear in the Huckleberries! Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barb. I did have eye contact with a bear yesterday on our road. I was walking home and there it was, not close, but not far. I started walking backwards in a straight line hoping it could not tell i was moving. Then it turned and walked into the woods. I imagined it thinking: what is that in the road? Regardless, i asked a neighbor to give me a ride home. Didn’t feel like walking by that spot, not knowing if it moved on or was resting in the shade. Saw another bear later that evening, but from my car. It is another big bear year in my neighborhood.
DeleteThank you all for your lovely messages and visits! Lovely weekend to you all!
ReplyDeleteFantastic images, I love them Tammie.
ReplyDeleteJust so glorious!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. It's one of my favorite places. We haven't done Going to the Sun yet this summer but are heading next week with my MIL. We were over in Two Medicine last weekend and had a herd of bighorn sheep walk right up to our picnic and hang out with us for close to 20 minutes. My toddler was fascinated. I blogged about it the other day.
ReplyDeleteOh, Tammie...these photos are SO lovely. Each and every one exquisite and they all fill my eyes.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Tammie. Did you pick any huckleberries? I thought of you and another friend in Montana when I read of the bear attack, too. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's so wonderful to see your glorious photos of one of my favorite spots on earth! Thank you so much, Tammie; they made me smile and cry at the same time.
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful images Tammie .....
