Winter's Magic Wand |
snow has fallen a few times
painting our world winter white
an early morning walk
through my woods is good for one's spirit
sunlight begins to paint the day
with light
as I drive down our road
6 inches deep in snow
a thought floats through:
this year it will not again
feel like autumn
on the threshold of a
new season

Thank you for enjoying. It is looking rather magical. Going to get super cold from tonight on.
DeleteMarvellous shots!. On the threshold of winter, that there on Montana are very cold, I was in the summer and did not have too much heat, so that in the winter...
ReplyDeleteTomás.
Thank you Tomás.
DeleteSuch a beautiful welcome to winter.
ReplyDeleteMagical winter shots.
ReplyDeleteWow, snow! Very nice. We have been having a lot of hard frosts. Sadly I haven't had a chance to get out with my camera. It would be nice if we had some snow here this winter. We had no snow the last two winters, which is very strange.
ReplyDeleteFrosts really are a nice time to take the camera out, one never knows what they will see. Wishing you snow.
DeleteA delightful sight! We've had snow today.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful part of our Beloved Country, you live in!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, a perfect magic wand! I want one, please... :-)
The Wheel of The Year keeps turning. Turning, turning, turning... And it is wonderful for us, to "go with the flow." :-)
Myself, I don't care for ice. But I try to not let that, keep me from appreciating all the Beauty, which Winter bestows on us.
Thank you so much, for sharing the beauty which surrounds you.
Early Winter blessings,
Luna Crone

Beautiful scenes! You gotr twice as much snow as we did.
ReplyDeleteWe doubled this snow fall last night, measured 11" today and had to plow and shovel for the first time.
DeleteDear Tammie - The winter magic wand made the places enchantingly beautiful! The world of shades of blue, grey and white look so refreshing to the eyes which enough enjoyed the brilliance of autumn. It looks like genuine stillness. Snow crystals are so beautiful on the winter magic wand. Stay warm.
