Meadow Life


a neighbor called
said: come on down
I have a grizzly and her cubs in the meadow




we sat in chairs from a great distance 
and watched

then they stepped into the forest
~
we also saw a robin pulling a huge worm from the earth


It is so beautiful these days


winter seems far behind us

  10. Wow! It isn't everybody who can watch grizzly bears in their "backyard".... How lucky you are. The green fields are beautiful and oviously the wildlife (big and small) are grateful!

  19. Dear Tammie - To observe a bare family from a safe distance, I have no experience like that. Haven’t bears approached your cabin? I’m not sure but when foods are enough in the forest, they wouldn’t. You captured the moment of a bird pulling out a worm! The combination of shades of green and of blue looks so soothing.

  20. What a sweet Robin, and look at all this beautiful nature surrounding it. The Robin is one of my favorite birds. It doesn't scare easily, and lets me take its picture all the time. I really love their orange bellies. : ) Oh my, look at those bears in the meadow!
