I have a grizzly and her cubs in the meadow
we sat in chairs from a great distance
and watched
then they stepped into the forest
~
we also saw a robin pulling a huge worm from the earth
It is so beautiful these days
winter seems far behind us

We are almost ending spring and the fields are at their best.
ReplyDeleteHave a good one, Tammie.
Tomás.
Our spring growth happens later than many places. Sometimes it seems like a long wait.
DeleteWishing you a good one too Tomás.
How wonderful to observe the mama bear and her cubs from a respectful distance! I love the last shot of the little bridge across the water!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a treat to watch them.
DeleteThank you for enjoying the last photo.
Those grizzlies are quite a sight to see!
ReplyDeleteIndeed they are! So nice to get to watch from a safe distance.

DeleteHello,Tammie,
ReplyDeleteWow!!it is so exciting to watch the big bear from the safe distance. It never happens here.
Such a beautiful forest. I like the last photo with the charming bridge and stream in the green.
Happy day to you.
A great distance is good! I hope she stays away from your cabin. Spring seems to have stalled out here. We are barely into the 60's most days.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Tammie, and grizzly I sure would have seen !
ReplyDeleteYes, it was.
ReplyDeleteWow! It isn't everybody who can watch grizzly bears in their "backyard".... How lucky you are. The green fields are beautiful and oviously the wildlife (big and small) are grateful!
ReplyDeleteWow - how amazing to watch grizzlies from your back garden!
ReplyDeleteSuch an amazing experience ♥♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteHow incredible! (And a little scary) Thank you for sharing such an amazing thing with us.

Wonderful to be so close to the bears.
ReplyDeleteThat is a large worm, hope the bird succeeded in wrestling with it!
Thank you...enjoy your week Tammie,
Ruby
Your world IS beautiful. So much to see and treasure. (And keep your distance from Mama Bear!)
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful peaceful place! well, other than the bears close by, lol! how awesome to be able to witness this, you are very lucky!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see the bears! And a great photo of the robin, who seems to be really battling with that worm!
ReplyDeleteDear Tammie - To observe a bare family from a safe distance, I have no experience like that. Haven’t bears approached your cabin? I’m not sure but when foods are enough in the forest, they wouldn’t. You captured the moment of a bird pulling out a worm! The combination of shades of green and of blue looks so soothing.

What a sweet Robin, and look at all this beautiful nature surrounding it. The Robin is one of my favorite birds. It doesn't scare easily, and lets me take its picture all the time. I really love their orange bellies. : ) Oh my, look at those bears in the meadow!
