They know you are their friend, don't they? I love how they come to you. And the blooms are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYes, they know me now. So sweet. They are off nesting now and eating bugs..... I hear them but rarely see them.
DeleteIt will be interesting to see if they come visit for seeds after nesting season.
It is so nice to see flowers these days!
So wonderful that you already have spring wildflowers, Tammie. There is still way too much snow by us. Our first to come up are usually pasque and marsh marigolds. I want my hair to be "feathered" like your little friend! Stay well.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is wonderful to see flowers! The anticipation was near painful ;-)
DeleteI wonder when you will see your marigolds and then the others.
Well your hair would be feathered if you flew around. I never realized how ruffled birds feathers can be. But of course.
All is well here. I hope you are well too.
Your spring flowers are smilling to the sun.So sweet,Tammie.
ReplyDeleteYes they are smiling to the sun. Lovely way to express it!
DeleteBeautiful photographs of your sweet flowers. The Pasque flowers are always so striking. What can I say about that precious Chickadee on your hand? So trusting and sweet with his little ruffled feathers!
ReplyDeleteThe pasque flowers are gorgeous/striking, I do agree.
DeleteThe ruffled feathers make me smile.
I don't know about "phlox"", but I was absolutely astonished to see the first tender flower! It's "Parnassia Palustris" - I saw a picture of it a couple of years ago and learned that I am wearing its name in Bulgarian - "росица" (i.e. rossitza). I've never seen it, it's not familiar, I read that it grows in the mountains between July and September. So... thanks for sharing its beauty, Tammie! And I didn't know there're pink ones.
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful about your name and that flower. We have a variety of it here, looks pretty much like the one you mentioned. It is lovely as can be and growing along tiny streams. I look forward to it's arrival.
