It's raining it's pouring
Summer is dressed in glory
thick coat of green
jewels made of rain
ornate with budding trees
flowers and mushrooms
tell her story

Hi Tammie,
ReplyDeleteYour world looks a lot like mine! We're having rain again today, though I did get out for some (much needed) weeding in my gardens. My husband got caught in the rain while biking home. I have the fireplace lit now and the candles burning... Hope your weekend is special.
Great poem.
Lovely photos. The pine trees look like they are stretching for the heavens.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
Please visit me: Picture This . . .
I love a path, even better with flowers.
ReplyDeleteWhere does the one in the second shot lead?
Beautiful garden! I love the variety of color. That's just my style. Your poem, as ever, is touching.
ReplyDeleteThis year where I am we have had more than our share of rain, but now that the sun has come out, nature has exploded in all her glory. Yes, it is a wonderful summer...even though it is back to more rain!!

Beautiful photos! We have also rain, but we don't see the sun very often. I have to admit I miss the sun:)The flowers are beautiful. The summer is so nice with all the colours.
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely breathtaking ... your wonderful words of praise, the whimsical flower-lined walkway and the majestic landscape you give to us. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe flower lined path is ever so pretty, and the landscape view is stunning. Thanks for adding your beautiful views to Sky Watch Friday.
ReplyDeleteWe get daily showers here in Florida too. I love the result...green:)
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your beautiful photos, the rain certainly works wonders doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteFour winds...
ReplyDeleteThe path lead to a point with a view. The trail continues on, but not the direction I wanted to go. It was up on Big Mountain, Whitefish's ski mountain. This time of year, one can take the chair lift up or down or both. The flowers are amazing- I was dazzled!
Barb, sometimes I think our worlds look very similar as well. But I will not be lighting a fire tonight and tomorrow will be in the high 90's!
Thank you all for your visit and comments!
Tammie
Oh that Montana sky is beautiful, Tammie. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Ohh I love pathways. Everytime I go on a hike and see a path, I always want to take it and see where it leads. I usually dont for fear of getting lost but I always wonder where it would take me
ReplyDeleteThe pines stand tall against your bright skies! Lovely summer flowers.
ReplyDeleteafter two months of rainy weather here we're very lush and green and wildflowers are blooming abundantly. There's nothing as cheery as flowers, the enternal hope.
