Listen

Listen

know that when you ask
then listen
you will hear
the whispers
the call of the soul
they rise from ones heart
a place with the know
some feel it in their
solar plexus, belly or heart
she can come with the wind
a flower or music of a harp
she speaks ancient truths
still in sync with now
know that when you ask
then listen
you will hear
~

  4. To know what we ask and then listen....is to learn.

  5. I think we trust those 'calls' from the 'inners' because there seems nothing better to be drawn from our own reasoning.
    Beats flipping a coin. :-)
    ..
BTW, I've 'heard' them calling from my solar plexus and sometimes even from my belly. Not a good feeling! It is kin to worry?

  12. Hi Everyone,
    Laughing: thank you

Paschal: I love looking at the flowers as listening, thank you

    Susan: your appreciation touches me

    Sandy: I agree

Jim: For me there is a presence in the 'inners' that gets my attention. Fun that you mentioned the voice in the solar plexus and belly. I agree, those two are often not comfy, the often point out what we are not honoring. So there is usually resistance to work through.

Sarah: Fun to see you join macro M.

Inky: lovely to have you stop by. I enjoy Susan's blog too!

    Rose: ;-}

    Sabrina: Thank you for appreciation!

Tricia: Thank you for your visits!

Jasmine: You made me take the photo in again. Thank you.

    4 winds: Thank you!

  41. Nice photos and I believe nature such as this does help one listen to what the soul has to say. ;-)

  42. To choose to listen, really listen, is to realize much more is going on than you readily assume. To peel away the layers of noise distractions brings you face-to- face with all you ever wish for. The blue poppy on the cover of my Self-Disclosure: Changes from Within book reminds me of the depth of the blue flowers here. They speak to us in a language we already know and understand.

    still in sync with now”
Listen, listen, listen…. You say it so well… Thank you for sharing your beauty and wisdom. Love and Light, Nina P.

  49. Isn't "solar plexus" wonderful term?! It brings a burst of light into the middle of the poem despite just being an anatomical part of the body.
