Along a Mountain Road

find mystery

and
majesty

dignity

and
beauty

far off views

and
intimate glimpses
~
Yes, the mamma of the baby grouse was near by!

The Jouney Continued

continuing on from the previous post
traveling up the North Fork towards Polebridge Montana

a place to cook on this hot summer day

flowers lined the high mountain road

what is this chipmunk digging for?

next it scurried into the wild current bush
had a feast while i looked on

 summer leaves still brilliant green

lake water divine

nature beauty sublime

Be Like a Flower

tranquility abounds
penetrating presence

the mind rests
natural view rises
there is only to be
like a flower or a tree
smiling at the sun

A Grand Elixir

come and whisper in my ear
what I need to hear
spoken from a sincere heart
to the spirit of the lake

gently stepping over mossy rocks
to a depth of water that one can then glide into
taking in the visible beauty of the world around
floating
there is the glory of the sky for ceiling
held in the arms of a lively forest

mushrooms and flowers as companions
heart enlivened
to sense more deeply
into the nature of the moment

looking with more than eyes
into the invisible
of what is visible
a grand elixir

view becomes vast like an ocean
the world transforms
into a sensuous amalgamated entity
no longer the same woman
the world is my lover and I feel like a bride

Listen

Listen

know that when you ask
then listen
you will hear
the whispers
the call of the soul
they rise from ones heart
a place with the know
some feel it in their
solar plexus, belly or heart
she can come with the wind
a flower or music of a harp
she speaks ancient truths
still in sync with now
know that when you ask
then listen
you will hear
~
