yesterday my dear friend Abigail had her birthday
we dined, roamed and enjoyed this lake,
her banks
and treasures galore that we found as we strolled along.
a glorious way to celebrate life!

ReplyDeleteWhen we see with new eyes and from new angles, we give birth not only to excitement, but to a type of awareness that is spirited beyond comparison.

Super photos! Happy Birthday to your Abigail. I don't know if it will feel so much like fall today as I saw on the weather map the high pressure zone is reaching way up into Canada but it's here whether the air feels like it or not!

ReplyDeleteI thought you'd like to know this morning my darling Sissy was rushed into emergency. Clytie is in the hospital with a heart blockage. They'll do an angiogram tomorrow to find out where the blockage is, then they'll put a stint in. Please pray for her complete recovery. She is such a beloved Friend and Sister. The world would be a sad place without her.
Such glorious images, Tammie! I can't get over how still the water looks...not a single ripple! It's almost like glass....

This is my kind of country, to sit in the mountains by a clear, still lake and just drink in the glory of this earth, the tranquility of the surroundings and a forest at your back . . . life is good, even if I can only do it virtually, I thank you for the wonder of this moment.
