Summer's Grand Finale

summer's alchemist has been busy at work
planting seeds upon our earth
sun and rain did penetrate
now earth's blooms proliferate
summer's grande finale

  46. A hillside full of wildflowers so thick that there's not a square inch wasted. The colors seem unreal because they're so vivid. How I love summer in the mountains. Your photos are wonderful.

We had our grand finale about a month ago in Colorado... with one of the finest displays of wildflowers that I've ever seen. I store away memories like that one for stressful times and then go mingle in the wildflowers in my head.
