Colors of a Season

this autumn has filled it's days
with a brilliant show of colors

light and shadow dance

a delight for our eyes

gals getting their gobble on:

Tamaracks don their golds

ankles of trees
cloaked in leaves

the storm could not veil all the sun's light

forest walks delight
wee fungi kin

but today
is another facet of autumn:

  2. Nature wears beautiful and colorful blankets this time of year. Every region specializes in its own unique tapestry which is woven and imprinted with its own signature and personalized patterns.

  8. Oh wow, I can't wait for our first snow.
    Beautiful images.

I love the sunlight on trees, when there's dark clouds in the sky. The contrast is always spectacular.

  9. Nature unfolds its beauty for you there in MT, Tammie, no matter the season. That little fungi is so shiny - I've never seen anything like it. I just returned to Breckenridge from several days in Denver. I believe the snow in my yard is here to stay. Soon time to sow my seeds.

  20. Gorgeous...
The colors are just breath taking.
    Much love
p.s I have been around, but not so often. My computer is so slow (even though it has loads of memory and nothing wrong apparently). Somedays pages won't load at all, and other days I try to leave a message and it takes ages or won't do it at all. On top of that both my daughters are having their laptops repaired! We are spending more time reading, drawing, sewing... very nice indeed. x

  24. When I'm in awe from the marvellous sights in your pics, always full of specific atmosphere, two words come inevitably to my mind: "What beauty!" I'm afraid I cannot say something different from the last time I've been here. And this shows two things for sure... That you live in a place, looking fantasticly beautiful every season and that you are a very good photographer!
